At the recent AITD event in Brisbane, a panellist said she looks for "figureitoutability" in her team.
That comment stuck with me. In a night full of great insights, it stood out.
It also got me thinking about the traits that make a great L&D practitioner. Here are a few that come to mind:
• Practical thinkers They quickly understand what the business needs and design learning that improves performance. But they are not just order takers.
• Strong collaborators They build genuine relationships, work well with stakeholders, SMEs and peers, and know how to bring people along for the ride.
• Learner focused They understand how people learn and design with empathy and engagement in mind.
• Smart with tech They are confident using technology, but only when it supports the learning, not just because it is there.
• Reliable delivery They deliver quality work, on time.
What would you add to the list?
